Scruggs to Melodic Online Workshops
Learn how to blend bluegrass banjo styles for two different traditional songs in two separate online workshops. Hosted by Bennett Sullivan and Banjo by Ear, these workshops will give you valuable insight for broadening your technique and voice on the banjo.
Four arrangements to common bluegrass tunes
The goal of these classes is to help you understand how to introduce melodic style into your banjo playing by dissecting the similarities and differences between Scruggs and Melodic versions of the same song. Each class will go over one song from the standard bluegrass repertoire and you'll get two tabs for each of the songs - one Scruggs and one melodic. As a bonus, we'll also talk about some backup techniques and vocabulary so you leave class inspired and with plenty to work on.
